Skanska USA has hired Jim Lane as Vice President of Preconstruction in the firm’s Blue Bell, PA office. Lane will be in charge of all preconstruction efforts on behalf of the regional office, in charge of building strong client relationships, improving Skanska’s preconstruction processes, and building value for clients. Prior to joining Skanska, Lane worked for 17 years at L.F. Driscoll as a preconstruction team leader managing a team of estimators. Lane has more than 27 years of experience in preconstruction, healthcare and the construction industry. Lane received his Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh. “I’m excited to have Jim leading our local preconstruction group,” said Ed Szwarc, Skanska USA Executive Vice President and General Manager. “The depth of his experience will enhance the level of preconstruction services Skanska is providing to our clients in the Philadelphia region.”
