The Fisher Brothers have tapped Jones Lang LaSalle as the new exclusive leasing agent for 1345 Avenue of the Americas. The 50-story, 2 million sqf office building is located on Sixth Avenue between West 54th and West 55th streets. Designed by Emery Roth & Sons and constructed in 1969, the office tower is currently undergoing a $65 million refurbishment including a new, expanded lobby, destination dispatch elevators, security desk and exterior plaza. “We are truly excited to work with the Fisher Brothers organization, one of New York’s most iconic and prestigious landlords,” said Peter Riguardi, chairman and president of JLL’s New York operations. He says that as the original developer of the property, Fisher Brothers was committed to upgrading it to meet the needs of today’s modern workforce. Current tenants include Alliance Bernstein, Fortress Investment Group, Linklaters and Accenture.”
