JLL has been named property and asset manager of the Swan Office & Technology Park in northern Bucharest. JLL will be in charge of the scheme’s operational management services, including overseeing subcontractors and maintenance costs.
”This is the second contract won by the JLL’s property management department in the last four months. With this contract, the managed portfolio of the JLL in Romania grew by more than 200,000 sqm,” said Mariana Stamate, head of property management at JLL Romania.
Swan offers 29,124 sqm of office and commercial space in three buildings. Tenants include Dante International, Flanco Retail, Fashion Days, Mercedes-Benz, Tecnoservice, BIC and Renovatio. The complex was developed by Chayton Capital LLP, following an investment of €50m. It opened in the second quarter of 2011. The project had been in insolvency proceedings since March 2013. Last year the insolvency administrator sold the project to Smartown Investments.
