Jones Lang LaSalle has been tapped by Winter Haven Industrial Investors to lease the Central Florida Intermodal Logistics Center. The facility will encompass 8 million sqf of industrial and distribution space with build to suit spaces ranging from 200,000 to 1.8 million sqf. The project already offers a 407,400 sqf warehouse available for leasing. Resting on a 932 acre site, the project is adjacent to CSX Railroad’s Winter Haven Intermodal facility that features loading, arrival and departure tracks with the capacity to process 300,000 containers annually. The logistics center provides easy highway access to I-4, US 27 and SR 60.
“As we look at factors such as population growth, demand for faster access to goods and increasing e-commerce, the Central Florida Intermodal Logistics Center will play an integral role in the future of Central Florida as a major hub for getting goods to all major population centers in the state,” said Joe Hills, JLL.
