Job Air Technic is planning to build a new shed for aircraft repairs at the Mošnov airport near Ostrava. The company intends to invest CZK 250m into the new shed and create 200 new jobs, doubling the number of its employees. The new shed will be able to service large aircrafts, such as Airbus A 330s, which are currently serviced in China. Construction should start in May.
Job Air Technic is part of the Czechoslovak Group, owned by Jaroslav Strnad, who is active in the armament industry. Czechoslovak Group acquired Job Air Technic when it was undergoing a restructuring process. The holding already owns the Czech truck producers Avia and Tatra. In 2015, Job Air Technic reported CZK 218m in revenues. In 2016, revenues are expected to reach CZK 450m, and in 2017, they should grow to CZK 500m.
