The unemployment rate in Hungary dropped by 1.9 percent y-o-y to 4.3 percent between November and January, with a sharper improvement for women seeking jobs, according to the Central Statistical Office (KSH). The jobless rate for men dropped by 1.6 percent y-o-y to 4.4 percent and by 2.2 percent to 4.1 percent for women. The average duration of unemployment was 18 months, according to KSH data.
