Jobless rate in Hungary falls to 3.8%

Hungary’s rolling three-month unemployment rate decreased by 0.7 percent to 3.8 percent between September and November 2017, according to the Central Statistical Office (KSH). During the three-month period, the average number of jobless Hungarians was 178,000, some 30,000 fewer than a year earlier. The number of jobless men between the ages of 15 and 74 decreased by 23,000 to 87,000 compared to the previous year. Among women, the number of jobless fell by 7,000 to 91,000, according to the KSH data.
