The supervisory board of Banca Comerciala Carpatica (BCC) appointed Johan Gabriels, the former president of RBS Romania, as CEO and Chairman of the directorate.
The new CEO will take on his new duties after being authorized by the National Romanian Bank (BNR). In addition to Gabriels, the other members of the directorate include Ion Dobrica, Gheorghe Cismaru and Georgiana Coanda.
Gabriels was president and CEO of RBS Romania from September 2009 until last spring. Previously, he was CFO of the group in Amsterdam and Dusseldorf.
