The residential developer JRD laid the foundation stone for its new, energy-efficient project Green Port Strašnice, which is being built on the site of the former headquarters of the shipping organization Česká námořní plavba. The three new buildings of the first phase will all be thematically connected in some way by a seafaring theme, near the A-line metro station Želivského. They will offer 156 highly energy efficient flats along with a total of 1,270 sqm of retail space, while a small park will be connected to them. Sales director Pavel Krumpár says that pre-sales suggest strong interest in the project, which is designed to create a healthy interior environment with fresh air and the possibility of developing community life.” Founded in 2003, JRD has always specialized in the development of environmentally friendly, energy efficient residential projects.
