The Melo Group has announced plans for a new mixed-use apartment development called the Square Station in the Edgewater district of Miami near the Arsht Center. Located at 47 Northeast 14th Street, the scheme calls for two 34 story towers with a total of 710 apartments, an attached parking structure with 946 parking spots and 15,000 sqf of retail and restaurant space. Melo bought the 1.37 acre site in 2014 for $7.85 million. The project site is adjacent to the School Board Metromover station and is slated for construction to commence in July.
