The logistics company Jusda Europe is building a warehouse in Dašice, Pardubice Region. It will open it at the end of this year. According to the investor, the site is well connected to the D11 motorway. The company leased the land for the construction from MD Logistika, which is in the freezing business and has two freezing warehouses in Dašice, Jusda Europe the company announced. The company did not disclose the amount of the investment.
The warehouse will have an area of 15,000 sqm, the D11 motorway is a key corridor east of Prague for the logistics firm. The warehouse will mainly service the consumer electronics and automotive industries. In addition to warehousing, employees will dispatch materials according to customers’ production schedules, repackage products, and prepare box or precision piece quantities, the company said.
“The opening of the warehouse will have a positive impact on the local economy, both through new job opportunities during the construction itself and for future employees of the warehouse,” said Jusda Europe HR director Jitka Kratochvílová.
The warehouse in Dašice represents a significant investment in warehouse infrastructure in the Czech Republic for Jusda Europe. The company has 150 warehouses around the world, in the Czech Republic for example in Pardubice, Prague or Kutná Hora.
