In one of the biggest lease transaction on the Polish market this year, Jysk took 40,500 sqm of warehouse and office space at Logistic City Piotrków Distribution Center. Located on a 120 ha plot in the town of Piotrków Trybunalski, the center offers a total of 450,000 sqm of space. No further details were disclosed.
BNP Paribas Real Estate, which advised Jysk in the transaction, says the deal proves the Polish warehouse market remains strong, with a record take-up of 2.5 million sqm reported in the sector last year. The vacancy rate in the sector dropped to 5.7 percent at the end of 2014, marking a 10-year low.
