The Government of Russia launched a tender for the Sanatorium and Health Compound of Kamchiya, which is located in Bulgaria. Russian authorities signalled that the initial amount requested for the compound is about €66.5m. The deadline for submitting bids is April 12.
Kamchiya was a resort during the Soviet Union era and in early 2000’s the compound was renovated and modernized by the city of Moscow in an investment driven by then Mayor Yury Luzhkov. Located 25 km south of Varna, the facility operates as a school, summer school camp offering sports facilities, a sanatorium and a wellness center
