13 May 2020

KanAm Grund Group’s most recent acquisition took place in central Edinburgh. Bought for a special real estate fund, the building is located at 4 North St Andrew Street and is leased on a long-term basis to Computershare Limited, which handles high-volume transaction data on the stock market. The newly refurbished building offers over 3,821 sqm of office space distributed over seven floors. It’s the 14th property of the KanAm Grund European Cities, a company created especially for a Northern German pension fund that primarily invests in office properties and has assets at 8 locations in Germany, Spain, Belgium, the United Kingdom, France and Ireland. The seller is the Knight Property Group PLC. 4 North Andrew Street is located near the main railway station, in the midst of a growing urban business center, including redevelopment of the St. James Shopping Centre which is planned for completion in 2021. This project will result in a significant enhancement of the neighborhood and the entire city center of Edinburgh.
