Kaufland has invested €100m in ten hypermarkets

Investing €100m, Kaufland opened 10 hypermarkets on the regional market this year.
The German retailer currently has 81 stores in Romania. By comparison, Kaufland’s four biggest competitors have a total of 69 hypermarkets in the country.
Kaufland expects to finish 2012 with a €1.5bn turnover, up from €1.3bn the previous year.

Over the last two years, Kaufland has improved its standing on the market, becoming the one of the top retailers in Romania, as well as one of its biggest investors.
