Kaufland is the main food operator in the new Fort Wola

Mayland, a developer and manager of large retail facilities in Poland, is accelerating work on the commercialization of Fort Wola before the planned opening of the modernized shopping center in 2022. The main food operator of the facility will be Kaufland, which has a retail space of over 3,000 sqm, will provide the customers of the center with access to several thousand food products and articles of daily use. It is the first facility of this brand in malls managed by Mayland Real Estate. The Kaufland store in Fort Wola will be the 8th facility of the chain in Warsaw.

The size of the store is ideal for ‘Nowy Fort Wola’, it will allow us to develop the remaining space for other industries, such as home furnishings, sports and entertainment. In addition, the constantly growing cemetery, closure of competing facilities on ul. Currently, in Nowy Fort Wola, intensive modernization works are underway to transform the existing 1st generation shopping center into a convenient place for everyday shopping. The owner of the facility, Mayland Real Estate assumes that it will be a center primarily for clients from the immediate vicinity, which is related to the very high potential of the center in the so-called ‘5-minute zone’. The opening of the investment is planned for 2022.

During works related to the modernization and commercialization of the facility, we place particular emphasis on the latest trends in the industry. We pay a lot of attention to the comfort of buyers, and the commercial offer is to be strongly represented, in addition to food products, by the household goods, services and fashion segments.

Fort Wola is located in the most dynamically developing business district in Poland.
