Kaufland will open a new distribution center near the Václav Havel Airport Prague. The hypermarket operator signed a lease of 5,000 sqm in Prologis Park Prague Airport in Jeneč, located to the west of Prague. Kaufland’s main distribution center is in Modletice on the D1 motorway on the southeast side of Prague. In Moravia, Kaufland has a distribution center in Olomouc. The retailer is the first tenant in Prologis Park Prague – Airport, which consists of two warehouses totalling 60,000 sqm that Prologis built speculatively.
