Kaufland opens store in Huşi, Vaslui County

The German retailer Kaufland continues its expansion in the east of the country and inaugurates a hypermarket in Huşi municipality, Vaslui county, thus reaching a network of 152 stores in Romania.

The new hypermarket is built on a total area of over 5,000 sqm, of which almost 3,000 sqm are intended for indoor sales space. The parking lot has over 250 spaces. The new opening has led to the creation of about 75 jobs.

Last year, the company opened 10 new stores in the following cities: Târgu Neamţ, Piatra Neamţ, Sibiu, Târnăveni, two stores in Timișoara, Voluntari, Blaj, Constanta and Balş.
