German retailer Kaufland has completed the acquisition of a 2.2 hectare plot of land near the Titan Mașini Grele factory, in the Pantelimon area of Bucharest, from businessman Mihai Lucian Palaz, and is preparing the construction of its fourth hypermarket in Sector 3.
Following the transaction with Kaufland, Mihai Lucian Palaz received an estimated price of over EUR 9 million. The retailer has already received the building permit for the purchased land.
The future hypermarket will have an area of over 68.0000 sqm and will be structured on two floors. The start date of the construction works has not yet been set, as there
