Kaufland is planning to open its first store in Moldova in Chisinau within two years. The store will be managed by Kaufland Romania.
“Network expansion continues, taking into account the context of the close historical and cultural ties between Romania and Moldova,” the German retailer said in a statement.
Kaufland has more than 1,100 stores in Germany, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Croatia, Bulgaria and Romania.
