Kaufland Romania will open a 3,000 sqm hypermarket in the city of Pascani next month.
Kaufland opened its first store in Romania in 2005, and at the end of last year its national network included 81 hypermarkets. The retailer opened 10 stores in 2012.
Kaufland is part of the German group Lidl & Schwarz, which also operates the Lidl discount network.
