Kaufland is continuing its expansion efforts on the Romanian market with plans to open three new hypermarkets by the end of this year. The stores will open in Timisoara, Arad and Braila, according to company representatives.
The German retailer ended 2014 with a turnover of RON 7.9bn, up 10 percent from 2013. The company’s profit grew 5 percent to about RON 409.7m.
