Kellner’s residential venture

27 June 2012

PPF Group, founded by Petr Kellner, is laying plans to build a new residential neighborhood and a public park in Trojmezí, a highly sensitive area on the border of three Prague districts: Prague 10,11 and 15. The company owns 45 ha of land there and apparently hopes it will be able to attach another 105 ha to that as part of a project which would see half of the land developed.
PPF wants to build homes, services infrastructure, a school, sports facilities and a golf course on it. This would call for a change to Prague’s master plan as well willingness by the remaining land owners to off-load their holdings. Orco owns 20 ha in this zone, while a further 30 ha belong to another private individual. The rest is divided between Central Group, Finep and a number of private owners.
