Kew Capital developing residential complex near Prague

UK investment fund Kew Capital is planning to build an extensive residential project in the town of Popovičky, southeast of Prague. Oaks Prague will offer 220 high-end apartments and villas, designed by a group of 19 architects, including Richard Meier and Eva Jiřičná. Some of the architects were chosen in an international competition, organized by Malcolm Reading Associates. The developer Arendon is set to break ground in early 2016. The project will target wealthy clientele. Costs are expected to run to €400m (CZK 10.84bn). The scheme includes a kindergarten, restaurant, services and shops as well as a golf course, tennis courts and wellness center.
