Key International, based in Miami, has completed the first phase of construction of its hotel project Embassy Suites by Hilton in St. Augustine Beach. The 175 room first phase is one of only five hotels in the Embassy Suites group with a beach front location. The 6.5 acre construction site rests on State Road A1A next to Anastasia State Park and boasts 535 feet of ocean front. Amenities will include a swimming pool, poolside bar, fitness center, 7,500 square feet of indoor meeting space along with 10,000 sqf of outdoor meeting space. The second phase of the scheme will add an additional 95 rooms to the project for a total of 265. Atlanta-based Hospitality Ventures Management Group has been selected by Key International to manage the asset.
