KGAL is planning to buy the Zentrum Schöneweide in Berlin from the BF Real I.S./DB Real Estate Immobilienverwaltung. According to market sources, the purchasing contract has already been signed, but its closing is not expected until the beginning of 2016. The property is located at Schnellerstrasse and offers 21,810 sqm of leasable space including 17,740 sqm of retail area. In addition to the property in Berlin, the fund still owns two other office buildings located in Essen and Düsseldorf.
