KGHM Polska has concluded a wage agreement with unions, salaries will increase by 10%

KGHM Polska Miedź has reached an agreement with trade unions after wage negotiations, the company said. The crew will receive a 10% increase as early as January 2022. Employees will receive an additional one-time bonus in the amount of PLN 2,000.

“KGHM’s staff is fairly remunerated for their reliable work. The wage negotiations confirm the approach of KGHM’s management board – the increases have been significant for several years, and we have shared the profits with employees. The constant dialogue and honest approach to the demands of the social side have resulted in a quick understanding. The message for employees is here. great: salaries will increase by 10%, starting from the payment for January,” said the president of KGHM Marcin Chludziński.

The management board of KGHM would like to thank the trade unions for a constructive discussion and professional approach to talks on the terms of remuneration. Despite the pandemic, the copper company is not slowing down the pandemic of investments and is strongly committed to issues related to the energy transformation, KGHM annunced.

KGHM Polska Miedź S.A. employs over 18,500 employees. The average remuneration for 2021 is over PLN 13,500. In 2021, KGHM employees received a record amount of advance payments for an additional profit award.
