The shares of Poland’s copper giant KGHM have been increasing over the week on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. Market watchers point out that the buyers are mostly foreign investors. The company said, however, it will not upgrade its forecast for its 2013 earnings. “Polska Miedź is one of the few companies on the Warsaw Stock Exchange, with this kind of interest coming from the foreign investors, who currently stimulate demand,” said Robert Maj of KBC Securities. “The global climate on the markets is no longer affecting KGHM. Investor interest is what’s now driving the company up.”
