Panattoni Europe and Accolade have handed over the new production facility to Kion Group in Panattoni Park Stříbro. The forklifts producer will start production at the facility at the beginning of 2016. Development of the 27,000 sqm industrial building was financed by Accolade, which also secured the lease. “The construction for Kion Group is one of the three most important investments of this year,” says Milan Kratina, chairman of the board of Accolade. The construction budget for the building was around CZK 600m, where Kion Group has made a 15 year commitment.
Panattoni Park Stříbro is located near exit 107 on the D5 motorway, enabling good access to Germany and to Pilsen. Lear Corporation, Leoni, Ideal Automotive, Gea, Assa Abloy and Steelcase also operate in the zone.
