4 January 2017

Kisco Senior Living has announced a $35 million expansion and renovation project of the La Posada continuing care retirement community in Palm Beach Gardens. The expansion includes the addition of a four-story building that will feature 54 apartment homes designed for seniors to age in place in studio and one and two-bedroom floorplans. Residents of the new building, called Mallorca, will have access to amenities such as a restaurant, pub, salon and spa, fitness center, scheduled transportation and access to the community’s Health Care Center. Construction is currently underway and the renovations and expansions will be completed first quarter 2018.

“Mallorca will enhance our 22-acre campus and will add another lifestyle experience that will enrich the lives of all La Posada residents,” said Andy Kohlberg, president & CEO of Kisco Senior Living. “Having the choice between two different styles of apartment homes—those currently available at La Posada and those in Mallorca—will allow us to offer a broader range of lifestyle options. Mallorca will give residents the chance to age in place where all the amenities are located under one roof.”
