Knorr-Bremse signs 2,700 sqm lease with Arcona

5 January 2017

Knorr-Bremse is set to open a new office in Liberec, North Bohemia, in a building owned by Arcona Capital. The automotive supplier signed a long-term lease on 2,700 sqm, bringing the building in the Liberec city center to full occupancy. Arcona Capital, which manages property portfolios in Central Europe, owns nearly 60 commercial properties in the Czech Republic. Knorr-Bremse, a manufacturer of braking systems for rail and commercial vehicles, will gradually move to the building by the end of 2017. It will occupy three floors, which will be used as its headquarters in the Czech Republic. ā€œLiberec was our clear choice – one of our manufacturing plants is situated there, plus Liberec offers excellent connections to Germany, where we are based. The building, on Neruda Square, fully reflects our needs for modern office space in the city center and provides our employees with excellent transport accessibility,ā€ said Matthias Sander, managing director of Knorr-Bremse.
