The German company Koenig metall has opened a plant in the industrial zone Senjak in Ivanjica, Serbia. Koenig Metall processes sheet metal and pipes in seven locations around the world to the specifications of its customers in the metal, electrical and automotive industries, along with the automobile exhaust and airbag industry. Production in the new Serbian plant is due to start with 120 being employed in the first phase of operations. Koenig expects to increase the size of its workforce as it builds its business and expands its capacity.
