Korbačka set to expand Eurovea

12 September 2016

Peter Korbačka, partner at J&T, is planning to expand the mixed-use Eurovea complex along the Danube river in central Bratislava. He wants to add 25,000 sqm of space to the project’s retail component in a three-story building with two underground parking levels. Office and flats will be added as well. Korbačka told Across magazine that Eurovea’s revenues and footfall are on the rise, and the complex has potential for further growth, but expansion is necessary to stay competitive. J&T’s plans were triggered by the completion of 600 flats in the adjacent Panorama City complex as well as better transit connection to the city’s Petržalka district following the renovation of Old Bridge. HB Reavis’ plans to build Stanica Nivy, a 70,000 sqm shopping center at the new central bus station, also factored into the Eurovea expansion.
