Krakow-Balice airport handled 33 thousand passengers in February, 95% less y/y

The number of passengers checked in at the Kraków-Balice airport amounted to 33,000. in February 2021, which means a decrease of 95 percent y/y, the airport spokeswoman Natalia Vince said.

At the same time, it was stated in the announcement that the International Airport Council awarded the Krakow airport, as the first in Poland, an award in the Best Airport by size and Region category for an airport serving up to 15 million passengers a year. This distinction concerns the quality of service and passenger satisfaction.

Kraków Airport is the largest regional airport in Poland. Throughout 2020, 2.59 million passengers were handled at Kraków-Balice Airport, i.e. by approx. 5.8 million less compared to 2019.
