Milan Křístek, the manager of the telecommunications operator T-Mobile, was named director of the Prague Transport Company (DPP), the DPP supervisory board announced Wednesday. The decision still has to be officially approved by the company’s board of directors, which should vote on the matter today. If approved, Křístek will take over the post immediately. DPP, the largest city-owned company, has been without a CEO since August, when the supervisory board fired Vladimír Lich, following his decision to file criminal complaints over the allegedly overpriced contracts signed under Martin Dvořák’s mangement. The Czech news agency CTK reported that according to a legal analysis by the lawyer Václav Láska, an organized crime group started operating within DPP in 2007.
