Central Florida has few large office spaces available for companies looking to upsize or to attract companies looking to move into the area. The largest available contiguous office space in Central Florida is located in Heathrow at Colonial Center with 134,661 square feet, according to the real estate research firm CoStar Group. However, according to the Orlando Business Journal, New York-based financial services firm Deloitte has a lease pending on that entire space.
The SunTrust Center in downtown Orlando currently has the largest available office space at 63,433 square feet, however it is not contiguous. There’s genuine concern among realtors that the lack of available space will prevent companies from considering Orlando as a viable expansion location.
