LandSouth begins work on Fort Myers senior home

Jacksonville-based general contractor LandSouth Construction has started work on a $20 million luxury senior living, assisted living and memory care community in Fort Myers, Fla. Located at 14131 Metro Parkway, American House Fort Myers is being developed by nationally known Redico of Southfield, Mich. and managed by American House Senior Living Communities. The Tuscan style three-story 121,964 sqf building will feature 20 memory care residences, 39 independent living residences and 65 assisted living residences. The 124 unit facility will offer three floor plans averaging 557 square feet. The scheme is scheduled for opening in February 2018.
