American House Senior Living Communities has broken ground on the third phase of the American House senior living community in Bonita Springs, Fla. The $13.8 million project sits on 26 acres and is located adjacent to the Imperial River in Old Bonita Springs. The new phase of the project is a Tuscan style three-story building featuring 88 independent one- and two-bedroom private apartment homes as well as two-bedroom apartments with a den. Jacksonville-based general contractor LandSouth Construction is the general contractor with Progressive Associates handling the architect duties. The project is slated for completion in the fall of 2016.

Landsouth’s senior vice president of development Joe Passkiewicz describes the project as an upscale independent senior living facility that will offer concierge services, dining facilities suited for visits outside and in from families and guests.
