Marriott Hotels has opened its largest hotel in Europe, the Madrid Marriott Auditorium Hotel & Conference Center. Located near Madrid-Barajas Airport, the property underwent an extensive renovation before joining the Marriott network, including a new façade that changes between day and night, flexible public spaces for guests, and guestrooms with large work desks. For business travelers, the conference center features over 166,000 square feet of event space, including an auditorium that can accommodate up to 2,000 guests. Guests can also make use of indoor and outdoor pools, sauna, a fitness center as well as tennis courts.
