Following a national trend of office users considering a downtown location as a prime location to attract the best talent, law firm Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney | Fowler White Boggs recently signed a lease expansion to occupy 30,079 square feet of the SunTrust Financial Centre in downtown Tampa.

The legacy office of Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney, which merged with Fowler White Boggs in March, is currently on the 24th floor of the SunTrust Financial Centre building. The expanded lease, which enables consolidation of the two Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney | Fowler White Boggs Tampa offices, includes additional space on the 24th floor, as well as the entire 28th floor.

Claire Clazon of Colliers International said, “Given the interest in downtown Tampa office space, the current environment presents a strategic opportunity for the law firm to sign a long-term commitment to one of Tampa’s highest-quality and best-located buildings.”

The Class A, 527,237-square-foot SunTrust Financial Centre is considered a trophy office building in downtown Tampa. Move-in for the law firm is expected for mid-2015 and will initially accommodate approximately 50 attorneys.
