Expobank LLC has successfully completed the acquisition of the Czech subsidiary LBBW Bank CZ a.s. and as of 15 October 2014 changed its legal name to Expobank CZ a.s. Expobank CZ will focus on private, corporate and affluent clientele in the Czech market similarly to LBBW Bank CZ.
Expobank LLC became a new owner of LBBW Bank CZ on 1 September 2014. Along with the change of the shareholder LBBW Bank CZ now changes its name to Expobank CZ a.s. including the logo and web and email addresses. All the other contact and identification details of the bank (i.e. IČ, DIČ, SWIFT, BIS, bank account number, and telephone or fax numbers) remain unchanged, and all commercial contracts remain legally binding under the same conditions with the new name of the bank.
The Board of Directors consists of its Chairman Māris Avotiņš and members Renārs Karašs, Boris Čuchran a Miroslav Kohout.
“Our strategy is to develop the current bank using its strong structure, specifically in corporate banking, trade finance, private banking as well as banking services for affluent clientele. We want to use the experience Expobank have gained from other markets in these areas and develop them also here in the Czech Republic,” says Māris Avotiņš, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Expobank CZ.
