The automobile industry supplier Le Belier is building a new factory in Kikinda, Serbia. The new factory will create 150 jobs and is expected to be completed this year. Le Belier, a French company with subsidiaries in Mexico, China and Hungary, produces aluminum castings for the automotive industry. Le Belier has already sunk more than €6m into the factory, which is going up next to an existing factory, but says another €1.5m is needed to complete the work. Initial production could begin by February, with 50 people to be hired in the first phase but real output isn’t expected to get underway until June.
