Dubbing provider SDI Media Polska, which has produced Polish language versions of many well-known series, feature films and cartoons, will relocate its office from Empark to Mokotów Plaza in Warsaw in September 2021. M7 Real Estate, the owner of Mokotów Plaza, was advised on the 3,600 sqm office lease transaction by real estate advisory firm Savills.
SDI Media Polska is part of the SDI Media Group, the world’s leading provider of dubbing services, with its headquarters in Los Angeles. Clients of SDI Media Polska include children’s television channels Disney Channel and Cartoon Network, as well as Netflix and the animation studio Pixar, well-known for its Cars and Toy Story series.
“Mars, the building which has housed the office of SDI Media Polska so far and is part of the Empark complex, is facing demolition. The site will be redeveloped as a housing estate. The tenant however decided to stay on in Służewiec. It chose Mokotów Plaza for its technical specifications, particularly its above-standard height, floorplate and high floor load capacity, enabling construction of a first-class recording studio, comfortable office workspaces and chill-out spaces for actors,” says Dariusz Karwański, Associate Director, Office Agency, Landlord Representation, Savills.
Mokotów Plaza is a five-storey office building located in Warsaw at 6 Postępu Street. It offers approximately 15,400 sqm of class A office space. Savills is the sole letting agent for the property.
