Kuhne & Nagel has extended and expanded its lease contract at Segro Logistics Park Prague and now has a total of 17,500 sqm. Meanwhile, Translogi doubled its area at the park to 6,000 sqm. Cushman & Wakefield represented the landlord in both deals. The commercial success of the park has prompted Segro to start work on infrastructure for the next phase of the project.
“This work should be completed in the third quarter of 2013, and it will make the site attractive for pre-let opportunities, where there is the potential to develop 27,000 sqm as the first phase of the future development,” said David Plzák, development manager at Segro. The new infrastructure includes a new exit from the R6 expressway leading to Karlovy Vary which intended to improve access to the park, which is currently connected to the R1 Prague Ring road.
