Lederer and Nitze will build its own production facilities in Bóly at a cost of HUF 200m thanks in part of European Union support worth HUF 65 mn. The investment will enable the company to operate in bigger, more modern premises that takes advantage at least in part of available renewable energy.
The company is the Hungarian subsidiary of German Wilhelm Wissner GMBH, and undergarments producer established in 2001. The investment consists of the construction of a 700 sqm factory, several offices and social areas, all of which are planned to be ready by the end of November. The company announced that it plans to move the manufacturing process from its leased premises, and will remain open to the possibility of buying adjacent plots of land for the purpose of further expansion.
