In an investment worth RON 1.8m, the Romanian furniture manufacturer Lemet opened five new stores in Bucharest, Ploiesti, Iasi, Ramnicu Valcea and Suceava. The stores’ sales areas range between 850 and 1,500 sqm.
Lemet’s Romanian network now includes 102 stores with a total sales area of about 65,000 sqm. In the first nine months of 2012, the manufacturer reported RON 153m in sales, up 20 percent compared with 2011.
The Lemet factory is located in Campina and was built in 1991. It covers 30,000 sqm and produces more than 360,000 furniture modules per year by processing about 1.2 million sqm of plywood.
