Miami-based home builder Lennar Corp. has filed plans with Miami-Dade County for the Century Townhomes at Bird Road project. Plans for the 10-acre square of land call for 60 town homes around the outside and a lake with a clubhouse in the middle. The site is located on the north side of Southwest 43rd Street just west of Southwest 164th Place outside the county’s Urban Development Boundary. Lennar acquired the property out of foreclosure for $1.94 million in 2014. The county commission will vote on the proposal Oct. 20.
