Business conditions have worsened for 63% of company managers in the last six months, according to a survey by Confederation Lewiatan conducted by CBM Indicator. 35% see no significant change and for 2% conditions have improved. Medium-sized companies are the most critical of the reality.
Business conditions have worsened for 64% of medium-sized companies, 63% of small companies and 60% of large companies. No significant change is seen by 36% of small and large companies and 33% of medium-sized companies. Improvement is seen by 4% of large firms, 3% of medium firms and 1% of small firms, it was reported.
The mood about doing business in the near term in a business context is unfavourable, with negative attitudes outweighing positive ones. 59% of entrepreneurs have a negative attitude, while 36% are positively disposed, 5% of companies were unable to answer this question. Managers from medium-sized companies have the most pessimistic (63%) view of reality, similar to the previous survey. For large companies, the percentage was 54% and for small companies 59%, it was announced.
Even more unfavourable are the sentiments of entrepreneurs regarding running a company in the context of changes in the law and the actions of the administration. 65% of companies fear such changes, including 66% of medium-sized, 65% of small and 64% of large companies. 26% of companies have a positive attitude (28% of large, 27% of small and 19% of medium-sized ones), it was reported.
The cyclical survey of business sentiment ‘Business Index’ was conducted in July this year by CBM Indicator on a representative sample of entrepreneurs, commissioned by the Lewiatan Confederation.
