Currently, 99% of Polish companies do not do any business in Ukraine, and 83% of entrepreneurs do not employ Ukrainians and do not plan to do so in the near future, according to a CBM Indicator survey commissioned by the Lewiatan Confederation.
12% of companies said they employ Ukrainians, and 5% plan to do so in the coming months. No Ukrainians are employed and 89% of small, 67% of medium and 58% of large companies have no such plans. Large (36%) and medium-sized companies (29%) are most likely to offer jobs to Ukrainians. Rarely do small companies (6%), it was announced.
99% of companies said they do not currently operate in Ukraine, including 95% of large and medium-sized companies. No small company admitted to a presence in the market of our eastern neighbor. A permanent presence in Ukraine was declared by only 1% of companies, including 5% of large and medium-sized companies, it stated.
94% of companies do not cooperate with Ukrainian companies operating in Poland. Only 6% of entrepreneurs do so. It is worth noting that 26% of large companies admit to such cooperation. 48% of companies said that after the Russian aggression against Ukraine, the level of turnover in cooperation with the Ukrainian market decreased. Moreover, 34% of companies reported that cooperation had also been suspended, it was further announced.
The cyclical survey of business sentiment , the Business Index, was conducted in December this year by CBM Indicator on a representative sample of entrepreneurs, commissioned by the Lewiatan Confederation.
