Lidl has acquired a 20,000 sqm plot of land in Michle on land next to a Czech Railways depot from PT Real Estate. The company’s spokeswoman Zuzana Holá confirmed the acquisition, telling E15 somewhat vaguely that the land was bought for “additional uses for it in the future” without specifying what it could build there. She didn’t give a price that was paid for the land but E15 reports that according to accounting documents it has a value of more than CZK 50m. The location is near a Baumax store as well as a Kaufland.
